Tesla Energy Battery Storage

As a Tesla Approved Reseller, Infinite Energy installed the first Powerwall in Western Australia in 2016.

Now Powerwall 2 has arrived, which boasts twice the power of its predecessor at 14kWh, including an in-built inverter to reduce installation costs.

Tesla Powerwall 2 performs four key functions:

  • Storing excess solar power
(rather than exporting it to grid for a low Feed-In Tariff)

  • Energy arbitrage
(charging the battery at off-peak rates and using the energy at peak times).

  • Peak shaving
(particularly if Electricity network operators start to impose maximum demand based charges).

  • Backup in times of power outage

While Powerwall 2 is available in Australia, it is not yet approved for installation in the WA market. Be the first to know when the Tesla Powerwall 2 is available in WA by registering your interest today.
