Drakesbrook Fine Wines | Commercial Case Study | Infinite Energy

Drakesbrook Fine Wines (19kW)

Drakesbrook Fine Wines (19kW)

Drakesbrook Fine Wines was established in 1998, on a property located in the Peel region, about 2 hours from Perth. The Drakesbrook vineyard was specifically selected for its immaculate environment, elevation, abundant water supply and well drained gravely soil.

Running a vineyard is an energy-intensive operation. Just like any business, owner Bernie Worthington needed to find a more feasible way of managing his electricity bills. Solar was the obvious solution, and after some extensive research, Infinite Energy were selected due to our unprecedented reputation and experience with several wineries.

The 19kW system uses premium SunPower panels, providing excellent efficiency and quality; key values of the winery. Over 31,103kWh of clean energy will be produced each year, eliminating 24 tonnes of harmful CO2 emissions, the equivalent of 91 trees. On top of this, the system will reduce the wineries energy bills significantly.
