Arena REIT are a real estate investment trust providing commercial properties for a substantial number of Early Learning Education centres across Australia.
Following a rigorous research and quality assurance process, Infinite Energy were awarded with the rollout of more than 200 solar energy systems nationwide for Arena REIT tenants, including one of their most significant tenants, Goodstart Early Learning, with over 100 site locations.
Arena REIT chose to work with Infinite Energy, due to our strong relationship with solar panel manufacturer, SunPower, who recommended Infinite Energy due to our national reach, professional and proven record of commercial solar installations.
We were able to design and install a 10.67kWh commercial solar power system at their Goodstart early education centre in Kirwan, Queensland. The installation had its fair share of challenges, due to staffing and weather issues, as well as the challenge of working safely within the operating hours of the centre. Good communication and coordination with the centre managers was integral to the successful outcome of the installation.
Goodstart Kirwan’s commercial solar installation has enabled them to reduce their electricity spend by 42%, saving them $3,340 on their electricity bill in the first year of operation. The solar power system is also saving the CO2 equivalent reduction of 48 trees every year.
