Arena REIT are a real estate investment trust providing commercial properties for a substantial number of Early Learning Education centres across Australia.
Following a rigorous research and quality assurance process, Infinite Energy were awarded with the rollout of more than 200 solar energy systems nationwide for Arena REIT tenants, including one of their most significant tenants, Goodstart Early Learning, with over 100 site locations.
We were able to design and install a 22.7kWh commercial solar power system at their Goodstart Early Learning centre in Blackmans Bay, Tasmania that featured 47 SunPower solar panels and a Fronius Symo inverter. The installation of the commercial solar power system was challenging, due to staff shortages as well as the issues that came with completing the installation during the operating hours of the centre. Communication and coordination with the centre managers was integral and resulted in a successful and safe installation.
Since the install of their new commercial solar power system Goodstart Blackmans Bay have consumed 73.06% of their produced solar onsite, enabling them to reduce their electricity spend by 40%. This has saved them $3,766 on their electricity bill in the first year of operation, as well as the CO2 equivalent reduction of 86 trees annually.
